- Hi all,
-
- I sended the message below to the networking newsgroup and this is what
- I got back:

-
- I am (albeit) slowly working, in conjunction with Johan Eriksson, on
- MuFS2.
-
- The overall plan is to mak the API more posix compliant, allowing easier
- porting of UNIX progs, and also enabling true MU support for the
- usergroup library.
-
- The code is to be split into 2 main areas: an identity engine and a
- packet interceptor.
-
- The identity engine will keep track of who you are, while the packet
- interceptor sits on top of _any_ FS and watches for packets that might
- require MU enforcing, and applies it if need be.
-
- I am working on the packet interceptor, while the other person (sorry,
- address on my Amiga, not on this network :() is working on the identity
- engine.
-
- Ideas, support and reminders that it worth the time spent on it are
- welcome.
-
- There are no binaries as yet.

- Well, lets give him our support and idea's. Please Cc: also to this list,
- so we can keep track of things. I'll try to do my best to keep in touch
- with him. He can be reached at:
